Most wedding vendors and checklists work backward from the date itself (save-the-dates around six to eight months out, final headcounts two to three weeks out), so watching the count drop is a natural cue to revisit each task on schedule.

Milestone Messages

The tool marks seven points automatically as the day approaches: one year out, six months, three months, one month, one week, the day before, and the wedding day itself. Each one swaps in a short message above the counters, so you notice when you've crossed a planning checkpoint without doing the math yourself.

What It Doesn't Do

The countdown runs on your device's local clock and doesn't adjust for time zones — if the wedding is somewhere other than where you're viewing this page, enter the venue's local time rather than your own. It also can't run backward: once the wedding day passes, it switches to a congratulatory message instead of counting into negative numbers.
